About

Quiet Professionalism

Quiet Professionalism isn’t just two words pulled from a dictionary that sound good together…though they do…quiet professionalism is what I strive for. To be relentless in my pursuit of excellence, with little fanfare or credit, all so that YOU can succeed.

Yes, you read that last part correct. The business side of this endeavor is all about helping you reach your goals, your employees, or customers, or audience, and ultimately your success.

Why choose me?

If you’ve searched the internet for how to write any business or website documentation, you’ll find results that sometimes agree with each other, sometimes don’t, but most of the time it’s ALL the information you could ever imagine, creating overwhelm and stress that you really didn’t have time for, or want. How do you choose one result over another? Where do you even start? It’s not just making sure the one you choose offers the content you need, it’s about making sure you can trust that the content covers what you need it to cover. And if you decide to hire someone to do it for you, that the company or person you hired can deliver the results you need within the time frame you need it. There’s something called the trust factor, which is much easier to form face-to-face, but this is the age of the internet which makes forming that connection just a bit harder. I’ll give you some background about me and my business, and if you have any other questions I will be happy to answer them. Just leave a message on the contact page or find me on LinkedIn.

Some Background

I’ve spent the last eleven years working emergency services and security for a chemical manufacturing company, and helping to write, edit, and maintain all the documentation and systems that go with it. We do it all—EMS, Firefighting, HAZMAT, and Security. I’ve written, edited, and proofread standard operating procedures, training documents, reference materials, and official reports. Most of those are in proprietary format, and confidential in nature, so unfortunately I can’t share any of it. But the knowledge base is there. I’ve also learned the importance of clear communication and the effectiveness in teamwork, and working to each other’s strengths to achieve the level of quality work and success beyond that which just one person can achieve.

I’ve also spent the last few years expanding my knowledge base beyond the emergencies and reports, and started this business which covers so much more. I’m still doing technical documentation, and tweaking systems to work more efficiently and work for my clients, but as my client base expands and grows, so does my knowledge base and skill level to find the most efficient way to manage the problems and issues that arise, putting them back on track and moving forward without the overwhelm or stress they would have if they were doing it themselves.

In Summary

We can all be good at many things, but there are always those one or two subjects that we as individuals excel at. I’m not saying we excel without hard work and constant learning and growth, but there has to be interest and passion behind what you do. My passions have always fallen into the spectrum of helping people, finding solutions, and making connections with people and content from all walks of life. I question everything, not because I don’t trust the person speaking, but because I want to understand what’s being communicated. If I understand what’s being communicated, I can better serve you and meet needs you never realized you had.

So if technical documents and the systems that maintain them are just not your cup of tea, you’ve come to the right place. Get help with what blocks you or stops you from reaching your goals by hiring someone who LOVES them, so you can focus on your passions and conquer life.

To your success,

JoEllen
